In 2022, India — a nation with 7,517 km of coastline, the world’s second-largest aquaculture producer, and a rapidly modernising navy still depended almost entirely on imported underwater systems or human divers for everything happening below the waterline.
Andromeida was founded to change that.
We’re a team of engineers, ocean scientists, and operations specialists who believe that the future of underwater work isn’t about sending people deeper it’s about building machines intelligent enough to go in their place. Machines that see better, stay longer, and bring back data that actually means something.

Andromeida Maritime Solutions Pvt. Ltd. began as a research idea inside the innovation ecosystem of IISc Bengaluru and the Research and Innovation Park in New Delhi. Since then, we’ve iterated through five complete hardware versions of UUR, developed AquaSee — our proprietary AI-powered underwater vision system — and deployed our robots in collaboration with four central government ministries, the National Institute of Ocean Technology, and over 25 academic and industrial partners.
We are not a reseller. We are not an integrator. Every circuit board, every thruster configuration, every line of autonomy code inside a UUR was designed, tested, and manufactured in India — by our team.
